GCMHP continues to conduct "Supporting Supporters" sessions for staff working in its community centers. These sessions, held in partnership with several organizations, are part of the "Providing of lifesaving Integrated Protection Support for Vulnerable Children and Adults in Gaza Strip and the West Bank" project, funded by European Union Humanitarian Aid in partnership with War Child.
These sessions reflect GCMHP's commitment to promoting the mental health and well-being of humanitarian workers. They provide a safe space for expressing feelings, releasing emotions, and sharing experiences, while also developing skills in stress management and coping with professional challenges. This contributes to reducing burnout and strengthening psychological resilience.
GCMHP believes that supporting mental health and humanitarian service providers is an investment in the quality and sustainability of services provided to the community, especially in light of ongoing humanitarian crises. This support empowers them to continue their work effectively and efficiently.
