As part of its efforts to enhance the capacities of mental health professionals, GCMHP conducted a training course entitled "Mental Health and Psychosocial Support" with the participation of 23 mental health specialists, community facilitators, and community leaders.
The course, which was conducted partly in person and partly via Zoom, was led by a group of GCMHP specialists. It covered several topics aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and enhancing their skills regarding the characteristics of normal adolescent development, adolescent mental health disorders, stress management, and self-care, thereby contributing to improving the quality of mental health services provided to beneficiaries.
The training witnessed significant interaction from the participants through discussions and the exchange of experiences.
It is worth noting that this activity is part of the project "Improving the Availability of Youth and their Caregivers to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Quality Services in Gaza Strip." in partnership with the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation - Enabel, and funded by the Belgian Government.
