GCMHP conducted an awareness session on the concept of psychological stress as a daily experience for women amidst accumulating life challenges. The session focused on distinguishing between normal stressors and those that become a psychological burden, impacting both mental and physical health.
The session addressed the most prominent sources of stress for women, including family responsibilities, worries about children, economic circumstances, and the accumulation of unexpressed emotions. It also highlighted the concept of psychological resilience as an acquired ability that can be strengthened through emotional awareness, seeking support, and using simple coping strategies.
