A group of Palestinian and German experts, in collaboration with GCMHP, conducted a specialized training workshop via Zoom on Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) for children and adolescents in the context of ongoing trauma in Palestine. The workshop, which was attended by physicians and psychologists working with GCMHP, focused on introducing key practical and theoretical skills tailored to the Palestinian context. These skills aim to support children, adolescents, and adults affected by trauma, helping them to reconstruct their life narratives in a structured and authentic way, while preserving cultural identity and collective memory.
This workshop is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the capacities of mental health professionals in Gaza, enabling them to provide effective and sustainable support to children, adolescents, and adults affected by trauma.
