  • Previews 25

As part of its projects aimed at mitigating the impact of mental health challenges on affected groups and strengthening their coping mechanisms during the ongoing humanitarian crisis, GCMHP conducted an awareness session titled "Positive Thinking and Ways to Modify Negative Thoughts," attended by 24 men.

The session aimed to promote a culture of positive thinking and its impact on mental well-being, to clarify the difference between positive and negative thinking, and to explore how thinking affects our feelings and behavior. Participants also learned how to modify negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones.

The session discussed the concept of positive thinking and its role in improving mental health. Real-life examples and practical exercises were presented, helping participants understand the importance of changing negative thinking patterns.

At the end of the session, the importance of seeking mental health services was emphasized, and participants were provided with a toll-free number for psychological counseling. Brochures were distributed, and participants were available to ask questions after the workshop.
