GCMHP conducted a "Supporting Supporters" session with the participation of staff from its community centers and a number of specialists from partner organizations. This session was part of the "Providing of lifesaving Integrated Protection Support for Vulnerable Children and Adults in Gaza Strip and the West Bank" project, funded by European Union Humanitarian Aid in partnership with War Child.
The session aimed to support the mental health of humanitarian workers by providing a safe space for emotional release, sharing experiences, and enhancing stress management skills. This contributes to reducing burnout and strengthening their ability to continue providing services effectively.
This session reflects GCMHP's commitment to promoting the well-being of frontline workers, based on the belief that supporting mental health and humanitarian service providers is a fundamental pillar for the sustainability and quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
