GCMHP conducted apsychosocial support session for adolescents, focused on boosting self-confidence, fostering positive thinking, helping participants identify their strengths and abilities, and encouraging them to express their thoughts and feelings positively. It also aimed to develop their resilience in the face of daily challenges and pressures by focusing on their personal potential and enhancing their self-esteem.
Several activities were conducted during the session, including a warm-up and energizing activity, a host and guest of honor activity, a "tree of strength" activity, and a "survival tax" activity.
These activities aimed to enhance self-confidence and a sense of empowerment, increase participants' awareness of their strengths and positive qualities, develop self-expression and positive communication skills, promote positive thinking and a more optimistic view of their abilities, increase interaction and cooperation among participants in a supportive and safe environment, and foster a sense of acceptance and belonging through positive peer feedback.
