GCMHP conducted an awareness session titled "Psychological Support as a Key to Resilience," attended by 22 women. This session was part of a series of community-based psychosocial interventions implemented by GCMHP to raise women's awareness of the importance of psychological support in coping with stress and crises, and its role in strengthening the psychological and social resilience of individuals and families amidst difficult humanitarian conditions.

The session focused on the concept of psychological support as an essential tool that helps individuals alleviate feelings of stress, fear, and anxiety, and empowers them to adapt to daily challenges. The importance of expressing feelings and seeking psychological and social support when needed was also highlighted, along with the need to avoid facing stress alone.

The session addressed the role of the family and community in providing a supportive and psychologically safe environment, as well as the importance of fostering positive relationships and effective communication among family members, given its impact on strengthening the psychological resilience of women and children.

The session concluded by emphasizing the importance of seeking psychological support when needed, and not hesitating to take advantage of the available counseling services, as the free telephone service for psychological counseling (1800222333) was introduced as a supportive channel for providing consultations and psychological support.
